Pinegrove Market and Deli began in 1968 when my father, Buder Bajalia, opened a small butcher shop at 1511 Pine Grove Ave in Jacksonville, FL. From the very beginning, our family worked side by side, focused on offering quality meats and honest service. The goal was simple: provide the community with fresh cuts and a place they could trust. More than 50 years later, we are proud to still carry on that same tradition in the very same location.

As the years passed, my brothers and I stepped in to help my father run the shop. About 25 years ago, we expanded the business by adding a deli to the butcher shop. This allowed us to serve fresh burgers, sandwiches, and breakfast items made with the same high-quality meat that built our reputation. Adding the deli also gave our father the chance to retire with pride, knowing his family would keep his vision alive and growing.
